Upon your arrival in Egypt you will disembark from the plane and enter the airport. Your Mostafa Tours “Expeditor” will be waiting right there holding a sign with your name. If you are traveling in a large group it may have the names of several persons in your group. Your Expeditor will greet you and help you obtain your visa as they will guide you through immigration. (No, you are not “immigrating” permanently to Egypt, but this is the term that’s used for the visa check-in process.) Next, your Expeditor will lead you to baggage claim where you can pick up any checked luggage from off of the carousel. Your Expeditor will then direct you through customs where you will declare what you are bringing into the country and the purpose of your visit.
Finally, you will be led out to ground transportation where your Expeditor will introduce you to your tour guide or driver. Throughout the process, please have your passports readily accessible yet securely tucked away. As you leave the customs lines, you will notice more crowds and congestion. (Welcome to Egypt!) You may be asked by taxi drivers if you need a ride. Simply decline and follow your guide. In the case of minor or even major flight delays, stay calm. Your Expeditor will have access to the flight details and will make all the necessary arrangements to meet you when your plane arrives. If you have any emergency and need to contact someone you can call the numbers that we will provide in your itinerary. On your smartphone you may want to download the app called “WhatsApp ” at least for the time that you’re in Egypt. It’s a great way to make international calls/texts for free and, importantly, to reach out to Mostafa Tours in case of emergency.
